As part of our team you will partner with world‑renowned companies, tackle complex issues and help shape the future of digital transformation.YOUR IMPACTThe role of Site Reliability Administrator is to build solutions that enhance the availability, performance and stability of OpenText services and automate away repetitive work within a cloud dev‑ops organization. This position is ideal for someone with creative, innovative problem‑solving skills who can develop and implement scalable solutions and drive continuous improvement across our products.What The Role OffersUses technical knowledge, creativity and company practices to reduce incidents through proactive monitoring and alerting.Provides incident management according to Service Level Agreements.Delivers continuous feedback to development teams on system stability, defect analysis and enhancements.Develops runbooks and patterns to sustain applications in production.Participates in technical discussions and drives transition to sustain activities with development teams.Collaborates with IT business and development partners to gather input and build new KPI monitoring and alerting capabilities in real‑time.Takes ownership of incident resolution, including RCA and SWAT investigations.Plans validation and verification of changes deployed by infrastructure and development teams.Provides day‑to‑day real‑time advanced technical support and troubleshooting for user/customer issues.Participates in rotating shift work and on‑call rotation as 7x24x365 support is required.What You Need To SucceedStrong expertise in Linux systems with scripting experience (Shell, Python, Perl, JavaScript).Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and PaaS technologies such as Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, BOSH.Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, rkt, Mesos) and microservices/RESTful architectures.Proficient in Continuous Delivery and automation tools (GitOps, Ansible, Rundeck, Argo CD).Skilled in middleware and application support (Apache, Tomcat, Spring, Java frameworks).Experienced with databases and storage (Oracle, Postgres, MariaDB, Cassandra).Knowledgeable in monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Zabbix, check_mk, Graylog, Kibana).Familiar with messaging and search technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solr, Elasticsearch).Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex high‑throughput issues with security best practices and ITIL principles.Proven leadership and collaboration skills to drive scalable solutions across cross‑functional teams.OpenText’s efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond compliance.
