Learn more about us at www.geopsi.com Full job description Job Title: Manufacturing Manager Employment Type: Full Time Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00/annum Start Date: Immediately Position Overview Reporting to the CEO, the Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, procurement, inventory, logistics, and shipping & receiving. This role ensures that production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards at GEO PSI. The Manufacturing Manager leads teams and works closely with cross‑functional departments to optimize performance, improve processes, and maximize profitability. Oversee all aspects of production operations, including planning, scheduling, quality control, and workflow optimization. Manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies. Supervise inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize waste. Direct and optimize logistics operations, including transportation planning, carrier coordination, freight management, and compliance. Manage shipping and receiving functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and on‑time movement of materials and finished goods. Monitor production metrics and prepare detailed reports. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Respond to emergencies and manage crisis procedures effectively. Provide leadership and oversight to team members, ensuring effective performance management, professional development, and alignment with organization goals. Manage production including equipment maintenance. Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow, and schedules. Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for manufacturing operations. Addresses employee concerns and complaints in a professional manner. Assists in conducting interviews, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Instructing – teaching subordinates to learn and experience new machines, tools, and equipment. Ensures that safety programs are followed, and hazards are identified to reduce injuries and incidents. Ensure production processes are correctly followed according to company policies and procedures. Determine work requirements and allocations for manufacturing operations. Manage calibration certifications and records for equipment. Participate in Leadership meetings and corporate review when applicable. Familiarity with an ERP program and its use in performing the duties of the role. Your Qualities Troubleshooting Mindset –Determine causes of operating errors and solve problems. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, including production planning and process optimization or a similar leadership role. Proficient in operating test and production equipment to support manufacturing processes and ensure reliable execution of operational tasks. Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, and shipping & receiving processes. Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross‑functional collaboration. Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems is an asset.
