We are looking for an outstanding, dedicated individual who is passionate about working with students and enjoys creating a flexible program that fosters a positive learning environment and personal growth. Qualifications Bachelor of Education Degree with a secondary education specialization or higher degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent. Hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate, or a valid Alberta Education interim certificate. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a calm, professional manner in a fast‑paced environment requiring multi‑tasking. Excellent classroom management skills. Understand and apply current research‑based strategies for classroom instruction. Experience integrating technology (SMART board, Chromebooks, Google, STEAM Room) into teaching strategies. Support instruction of identified students, using various teaching methods. Prepare relevant course objectives and outlines for courses of study following curriculum guidelines and related resources to support classroom inclusiveness. Evaluate student progress, record results, and issue reports to inform parents of progress. Participate in staff and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops. Culture sensitivity, with experience in a faith‑based school environment. Ability and commitment to build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the community. Ability to implement Project‑based Learning activities.
