Drafter, Mechanical and Piping

Role Overview As a drafter, you’ll contribute to projects related to mining processes, industrial mechanics and piping, plant systems (water, steam, compressed air), industrial ventilation and building services. Create or update process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) Help design 2D and 3D piping and mechanical drawings, under senior designer supervision Help improve dynamic block libraries and other internal tools Work on layouts in accordance with corporate or client standards, including draft drawings, maps, charts and diagrams based on detailed sketches Produce preliminary plans for buildings, equipment or sites using reference drawings or catalogues Prepare simple diagrams, perform basic dimensional calculations and create final drawings using simple mechanical equipment diagrams Help more experienced colleagues with more complex tasks When required, help prepare site surveys Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?
