Who we are looking for: The VML Performance Marketing team is seeking a savvy Project Manager who can plan and direct a variety of requests and projects from start to finish. This person will manage website maintenance requests from client and various fast‑paced projects on a busy automotive account. The work requires coordination of internal and external resources, timeline creation and updates and constant communication and teamwork. In addition, the Project Manager promotes and ensures that project management standards such as tools, milestones and approvals are utilized and followed. An effective problem‑solver on a day‑to‑day basis, the Project Manager must be adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities in a fast‑paced environment. What you’ll do: Plan | Understand the strategy and ideas for a project to facilitate the organization of those concepts into a clear framework throughout the project life cycle. Develop clear and detailed project timelines, dependencies, milestones and tasks for concurrent projects. Ensure requirements are synchronized within capabilities for given resources and roles are defined for each stakeholder. Translate and communicate data into actionable items. Manage | Monitor the day‑to‑day maintenance of the website and the management of small projects from initiation through implementation and deployment. Consistently demonstrate active problem resolution in order to ensure smooth project process and resolve schedule conflicts. Lead effective client calls and internal meetings complete with agendas and documented next steps/key decisions. Ensure change orders are completed for unapproved work. Manage all project financials. Uphold quality control standards and process both for project management and for those set within the agency. Partner | Collaborate with discipline leads, account and project management to support development of scope of work based on functional and business requirements. Actively engage the Account Team regarding deliverables and timing expectations to support a balanced workload for the agency. Communicate status of project to the team and client on a regular basis. Ensure alignment for internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership to the account team in a matrix environment including conflict resolution and problem solving. What you’ll need: Minimum 1 year project management experience or project coordination preferably in an agency environment. Experience with web projects and preferably experience managing projects for a website built in a CMS (EPiServer, Drupal, WordPress, ...) Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to lead project team members, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills; manage multiple projects simultaneously. Capacity to understand dynamics of multi‑discipline teams and resolve team‑related issues that could impact deliverables. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and deliver quality results. De plus, le ou la gestionnaire de projet s’assure que les normes de gestion de projet comme les outils, les jalons et les approbations sont utilisées ou suivies. Ayant la capacité de résoudre efficacement les problèmes au quotidien, la personne retenue doit savoir anticiper les problèmes et reconnaître les occasions à saisir dans un environnement dynamique. Responsabilités : Planification | Comprendre la stratégie et les idées d’un projet pour faciliter l’organisation des concepts dans un cadre clair tout au long de la durée de vie du projet. Développer des échéanciers, des dépendances, des jalons et des tâches clairs et détaillés pour plusieurs projets à la fois. S’assurer que les exigences sont synchronisées aux capacités des ressources données et que les rôles sont définis pour chaque partie prenante. Traduire les données en mesures concrètes et savoir bien les communiquer. Gestion | Surveiller la mise à jour quotidienne du site Web et la gestion des petits projets jusqu’au déploiement. Toujours démontrer une capacité de résolution de problèmes afin d’assurer des processus harmonieux et de résoudre les conflits d’horaire. Mener efficacement des appels client et des rencontres internes en ayant recours à des ordres du jour et en documentant les prochaines étapes/décisions importantes. Gérer les finances des projets. Respecter les normes et les processus de contrôle de la qualité pour la gestion des projets internes et externes. Partenariat | Collaborer avec les responsables de chaque discipline, les services‑conseils et les gestionnaires pour soutenir le développement d’un cadre de travail basé sur les exigences fonctionnelles et commerciales. Collaborer activement avec les services‑conseils concernant les livrables et les attentes en matière d’échéanciers afin d’offrir une charge de travail équilibrée pour l’agence. Communiquer l’état des projets à l’équipe et aux clients sur une base régulière. S’assurer que les intervenants internes et externes sont alignés. Fournir un leadership à l’équipe, incluant la résolution de conflits et de problèmes, dans un environnement matriciel. Compétences : Minimum d’un an d’expérience en gestion de projet, préférablement en agence. Expérience avec les projets Web, de préférence dans la gestion de projets pour un site construit dans un CMS (EPiServer, Drupal, WordPress, etc.) Fortes aptitudes pour le leadership avec la capacité de diriger les membres d’une équipe grâce à d’excellentes compétences interpersonnelles; capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément. Capacité à comprendre la dynamique des équipes multidisciplinaires et à résoudre des problèmes liés à l’équipe qui pourraient avoir une influence sur les livrables. Capacité à établir des priorités, à gérer plusieurs tâches ou projets à la fois dans un environnement dynamique axé sur les échéances et à livrer des résultats de qualité. Salary The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting.
