Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Service Technician (Full Time) St. Hubert, QCPrimary ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Micro Vrac Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the installation, repair or maintenance of our liquid argon, CO2 and nitrogen storage containers and gas blenders at customer sites in Montreal and regions (north and south shore).ResponsibilitiesInstallation of Micro Bulk tanks, gas mixers and nitrogen generators and gas heaters.Rental equipment maintenance and parts inventoryPerform equipment calibrations and complete licensing reportsTroubleshooting, minor repairs and maintenance of Micro Bulk tank trucksManage or assist in troubleshooting equipment problemsFuture participation in “on-call” paid evenings and weekends rotationPurchase of non-standard parts or immediate needsQualificationsKnowledge and experience working with gas pipes and pressure vesselsVery strong mechanical ability and ability to identify root cause of problems both at customer sites and remotely over the phoneMotivated individual able to work independently and work with clients in a professional and effective mannerStrong working knowledge of computers, tablets and smart phones running Windows and AndroidWell organized with great attention to detailMotivated individual able to work with minimal supervisionAvailable to work overtime and stay out of town in hotels if necessaryMust be COVID-19 vaccinated to meet customer access requirementsMandatory annual drug and alcohol testing for client access requirementsClass 5 driver’s license with clean driver abstractPhysically fit and able to lift up to 50 poundsOther ConsiderationsTeam player with strong focus on customer safety and works well as subcontractorsExperience installing plumbing linesKnowledge of drinking fountains and draft beverage systemsLinde has an extensive background check process which may include but is not limited to, a criminal background review, pre-employment medical, driver’s license and abstract review, and may also include employment verification.Linde Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities.
