Job Description The Estimator’s primary responsibility is creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication. Also, estimators inform and update customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles, documents and parts needed for repairs. The Estimator works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs. Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Write accurate estimates for the damage of vehicle and repairs to be completed. Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process. Ensure ASE is updated accurately with important details from every customer interaction. Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements. Communicate all customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members. Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team. Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager. Build customer relationships and apply learning to maximize KPI performance (Sales/ GP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS, Return Rate, etc.). Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of estimating experience in a collision repair environment or a similar role. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Experience using Mitchell and Qapter. Working knowledge of vehicle repair practices and OE guidelines. Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to multitask and effectively manage a fast paced environment. Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc. Valid driver’s license required.
