Analyze group insurance plans remotely using advanced underwriting, Excel, and risk selection expertise. Build tailored solutions while collaborating across teams and partners.
This full-time Group Benefits Underwriter role requires more than five years of group insurance underwriting experience. You will analyze quotes, renewals, and plan changes while handling complex requests, including ASO arrangements and multi-employer groups. The work supports competitive, financially sound group insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and underwrite group insurance quotes and renewals
- Lead underwriting for complex special projects and arrangements
- Establish pricing using technical results and risk principles
- Communicate and negotiate underwriting recommendations with relevant partners
- Collaborate with sales, actuarial, administration, and external teams
Requirements:
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- More than five years of group insurance underwriting experience
- Experience implementing ASO arrangements
- Advanced Excel and VBA automation proficiency
- Bilingual French and English communication skills
