Safety Security Manager

Position Summary:

Our global partner is seeking a Fully Bilingual (English/French) Manager of Physical Security, based in Lachine QC. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team dedicated to surveillance, protection, and emergency response coordination. Your duties will include ensuring compliance with various externally regulated programs, such as the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and NATO's Contract Security Program (CSP), as well as managing access protocols for our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontracted security services to ensure adherence to contract terms.
  • Develop and implement procedures for access control and key management.
  • Stay informed about security risks and recommend appropriate measures.
  • Serve as the Company Security Officer for NATO's CSP, liaising with relevant authorities.
  • Fulfill the role of Designated Official for the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Facilitate security accreditations and access authorizations for employees at Canadian airports.

Basic Requirements:

  • Full Fluency in French and English
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant management experience in security environments.
  • Familiarity with NATO & CGP Programs.
  • Health and safety or emergency response certification.
  • Knowledge of fire prevention best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong observation skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrated initiative and adaptability to industry standards.
  • Effective communication skills across various mediums.
