Primary Job Title: Unit Director - People & Culture Alternate/Related Job Titles: Director of Human Resources HR Business Partner Lead People & Culture Manager Employee Experience Director Location: Boucherville, QC Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Job Details: Position Type: Direct Placement Start: As Soon As Possible Job Summary As the Unit Director - People & Culture, you will lead the implementation of strategic HR initiatives to align people programs with business objectives. This role combines leadership, culture-building, and talent management, ensuring that employees experience a consistent, values-driven, and supportive workplace. You’ll partner with senior leadership to strengthen engagement, foster leadership growth, and guide transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive people strategies and budgets that support business objectives. Lead a local People & Culture team in partnership with corporate HR functions to deliver consistent employee experiences. Drive talent management, leadership development, and succession planning to meet value creation goals. Serve as an ambassador of organizational culture, promoting employee well-being and inclusion. Guide human and organizational aspects of facility transformation, ensuring alignment with company standards and change management best practices. Represent the voice of employees, ensuring the company remains a caring employer and fosters a positive work environment. Required Experience University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; or 10+ years of directly related experience. Minimum of 5 years of management or leadership experience. Proven success in driving HR strategy and culture initiatives at the site or business unit level.
