Overview Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) is a fast growing, leading-edge Artificial Intelligence company developing solutions for the global maritime sector. The Role We are seeking a dedicated IT Systems Administrator to manage and enhance our organization\'s IT infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of various systems and services, including Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Intune, Jamf for Mac, and AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring systems, creating policies, developing network and IT diagrams, managing firewalls, and overseeing tools such as email security, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Defender, and log management solutions. Responsibilities User Account Management: Create and manage user accounts across platforms like Azure Active Directory and Outlook, ensuring new employees are equipped and ready from their start date. System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain IT systems, including SharePoint, Intune for Windows, Jamf for Mac, and other essential tools to support organizational needs. Network Infrastructure Management: Develop and maintain network diagrams, manage firewall configurations, VPN and AWS Server setups, and ensure secure and efficient network operations. Tool Configuration and Management: Oversee the configuration and management of security tools, including email security solutions, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Defender, and log management systems. Device Management: Reimage laptops, deploy necessary software, and ensure devices are properly configured and secured for employee use. Policy Development: Create and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficient operations. Technical Support: Respond to IT tickets, remotely connect to user systems to diagnose and resolve issues, and provide timely support to staff. System Patching and Updates: Manage and deploy system patches and updates to maintain security and functionality across all devices. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on user account management, system configuration, and network infrastructure. Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Intune for Windows, Jamf for Mac. Experience with firewall management and VPN configuration. Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools such as email security solutions, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Defender, and log management systems. Familiarity with device imaging and deployment processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Other Requirements Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Experience with system patching and update deployment strategies. Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices in IT security. Fluent in English and French.
