Lead the production team at Saputo, a premier global dairy processor, ensuring quality and efficiency in dairy product manufacturing. This full-time role emphasizes leadership and expertise in cheese production.
As Production Manager, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and guide the production team in delivering top-quality dairy products. Utilize your extensive experience in the cheese-making environment to foster positive employee relationships and enforce high safety standards. Your skills in analytical thinking and organization will drive continuous improvement within the 24/7 operational framework.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor production supervisors and staff • Manage daily production schedules and staffing needs • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards • Maximize efficiency in raw material and labor usage • Collaborate with other departments on production initiatives
Requirements: • Minimum five years in food manufacturing leadership • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Dairy Technology, or related field • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with LEAN methodologies is preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
