Courier Team Lead

Overview Interview position to assist management in overseeing daily sorting, delivery and pickup activities and remote domicile location/feeder operations where applicable. Leads the sector as assigned, ensuring best practices and effective operations, and models the way for hourly employees by becoming a mentor and demonstrating role‑model behaviour, including strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership ability through Best Practices methods. Model role‑model behaviour, demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution and leadership ability. Qualifications Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Requirements: Minimum one (1) year current courier experience. Technical Skills: Valid driver’s licence with good driving record; completion of all basic and recurrency training (including DG specialist certification); yearly recurrency training; current training in BP and defensive driving/process updates; good understanding of FedEx products, features, and general operations; ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment; knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations is an asset. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer relations, communication, analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, organization skills; ability to motivate, coach, train employees; team player.
