This role focuses on developing a permanent acute care hospitalist practice. Responsibilities Admit and manage “unattached” patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP). Provide supportive care for surgical and specialist medical patients. Demonstrate superior clinical and communication skills with exceptional bedside manner. Commit to the specialty of Hospital Medicine and participate in quality improvement and teaching initiatives. Qualifications ACLS, CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC eligible for full license, CPSBC full. Strong interest in developing a permanent acute care hospitalist practice. Compensation Contract position—current contract pays $200.10/hr. Dependent on Physician Master Agreement and Regional Hospitalist Contract. Benefits Competitive compensation with up to 40% bonus incentive payments based on volume, coverage, and quality.
