The Wainwright Continuing Care site is a rural setting where the LPN works within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient and client centred care. As an LPN you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients/clients, collaborating with RN/RPN colleagues and others to meet the needs of more complex cases. You are responsible and accountable to the public for your practice in accordance with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) Standards of Practice. Your role is guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and AHS policies and procedures. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS‑HCP). Additional Required Qualifications Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrates critical thinking skills, within scope of practice, including clinical judgment, problem‑solving skills, and strong decision‑making ability.
