Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our Mississauga facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production continuity, and fostering a strong safety and food safety culture.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional looking to take ownership of team leadership, preventive maintenance strategy, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily maintenance operations and personnel.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
Perform and support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety and food safety standards.
Collaborate with Production and Operations to resolve equipment challenges and reduce downtime.
Manage spare parts inventory and support procurement planning.
Coach, train, and mentor maintenance team members.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and maintenance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical background in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance systems.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
Solid understanding of Canadian occupational health and safety requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Trade certification (Millwright, Electrician) or technical diploma/degree preferred.
Experience in food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing is an asset.
Knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards is considered an advantage.
Working Environment
Manufacturing and warehouse setting.
Flexibility to support evening, night, weekend, or overtime maintenance needs as required.
