Alterations Specialist – David’s BridalJoin David’s Bridal as an Alterations Specialist and help customers create the perfect wedding dress. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure every garment meets the brand’s high standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform all fitting and alteration services—including cutting, steaming, pressing, and spot‑cleaning garments—to ensure a flawless end product.Use all store systems to manage customer flow, process transactions, and maintain accurate order records.Consult with stylists and customers to identify fitting needs and recommend alteration services.Maintain the alterations room so that it is consistently clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.Adhere to all company quality control guidelines, including inspecting garments before final delivery.Follow all cash wrap behaviors and support store revenue by accurately processing sales.Respond promptly to all customer questions and resolve issues in a swift, customer‑focused manner.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or a specialty store.Prior sewing and alteration experience in a bridal or special‑occasion environment is required.Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.Physical DemandsThe role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 10 lb., and using hands and wrists for sewing and pressing. Adequate vision and the ability to use a computer or phone for extended periods are also required.Education & CredentialsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
