Your role Advise, support, and guide business lines in their activities, particularly regarding vulnerable persons, powers of attorney, protection mandates, trusts, estates, and incapacity. Analyze complaint files from legal, regulatory, and financial perspectives, assess risks (legal, regulatory, reputational), and provide tailored recommendations. Negotiate amicable settlements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Issue legal opinions and recommend actions to ensure the protection and growth of the firm in line with its business objectives. Collaborate on regulatory investigations and litigation related to complaints. Develop and maintain tools and training related to issues involving vulnerable persons. Your team Within the Legal Affairs sector of National Bank Financial (NBF), you’ll be part of a large team of 30 colleagues and report to the Assistant Vice President – Client Relationship and Complaints Advisory Services. You’ll work closely with the Senior Manager responsible for issues related to vulnerable persons.
