Our client is currently seeking experienced pilots to join their team for the upcoming 2026 season and beyond. What You Can Expect: As a pilot with our client, you will be part of a dynamic team using your skills to protect communities from wildfires. Our client offers a supportive environment focused on safety, teamwork, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Operate firefighting aircraft in domestic and international missions Ensure safe, precise, and efficient flight operations in challenging conditions, including mountainous terrain Participate in regular training and adhere to all safety and operational protocols Qualifications: Successful candidates will meet the following criteria: Canadian citizen or legal right to work in Canada Ability to obtain required work visas for international assignments Valid Canadian Driver’s License and Passport Commitment to residing in Canada during the fire season Ability to obtain a Canadian Category 1 Medical Certificate Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience At least 250 hours flying in mountainous terrain Recent flying experience within the last 12 months Additional Qualifications for Specific Aircraft: For seaplane or tailwheel aircraft positions: 500 hours PIC on seaplane in a commercial operation, or 200 hours on certified tailwheel aircraft Please note: A lack of seaplane or tailwheel experience will not preclude other applicants from consideration.
