Contract type 18‑month contract Role overview The Senior Financial Analyst will join the Financial Planning, Analysis team and play a key role within the McKesson Retail Banner Group. The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, performance tracking and business development strategies. A strong emphasis is placed on special projects. Responsibilities Partner with the McKesson Canada Retail Banner Business. Support the Sr. Director and Sr. Manager, FP&A with financial planning, dashboards, benchmark analyses and financial management presentations. Prepare and present monthly and ad‑hoc management reports to business owners. Actively engage in the monthly forecasting activities of the Retail Business. Support and drive the annual budgeting and long‑range planning exercises. Provide proactive support and business analytics; conduct general and customized analyses, develop value‑added KPIs, and support strategic decision‑making. Maintain appropriate communication with all organizational levels and across business segments. Recommend solutions or alternatives to support management in decision‑making. Prepare and present monthly cash‑flow forecasts and long‑range plans for the Retail Banner Business. Assist Operations with ad‑hoc profitability requests and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance or Accounting. CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) preferred. Bilingual in French and English (written and oral). 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, professional practice or a similar role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strategic and pro‑active thinker. Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. Ability to challenge the status‑quo. Capacity to manage multiple analyses or projects simultaneously and prioritize work. Strong analytical background, comfortable with detailed exercises, organized and autonomous. Demonstrated expertise in business analysis and financial modeling. Customer‑first attitude and solution‑oriented approach. Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in a multinational corporation or professional firm is an asset. Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset. Additional Information This position provides daily support to internal and external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. Compensation Base pay range: $85,400 - $142,400. The total rewards package may include base pay, annual bonus, and long‑term incentive opportunities.
