You hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of Ontario.We are looking for automotive technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of successResponsibilitiesAs a Midas automotive technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, including:Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systemsTires and tire repairCar heating and air conditioningSteering and suspensionBelts and hosesRadiator and engine cooling systemsBatteries, starting and chargingSteering and suspensionBrake repairOil servicesCheck engine lightMufflers and exhaust servicesVisual safety and courtesy inspectionsQualificationsAbility to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environmentKnowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnosticsTrack record of high personal productivityKnowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilitiesExperience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic toolsProvincial Certificate of QualificationValid driver’s licenseOwn tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)Able to service both import and domestic vehicles #J-18808-Ljbffr
