The Commercial Analystis responsible forenabling the execution of the company’s commercial strategy by transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making across the organization. This role provides visibility into sales performance, distribution, profitability, and market dynamics across all provinces, supporting disciplined, data-driven growth. Success in this role is tied toanexceptional ability to analyze complex data sets, create compelling insights, anddisseminatethem effectively to multiple levels of the organization-from field teams to senior leadership-while continuously improving and evolving reporting systems, tools, and processes for greater impact and efficiency. The Commercial Analyst plays a critical role in navigating a highly regulated cannabis environment by ensuring decisions are grounded inaccurate,timely, and relevant commercial insightsand that opportunities and risks areidentifiedearly.This role is based out of our Downtown Vancouver location and will be reporting into Director ofSales Operations. Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and distribute key commercial reporting to support business decision-making. Send weekly updates on sales performance and SalesRepresentatives’performance. Produce monthly distribution reporting, including competitive analysis and key trends. Support profitability reporting and monthly margin insights. Provide monthly budget recap reporting to stakeholders. Build and improve trackers and tools that help the organization understand shiftingdynamics and performance. Maintain dashboards that support leadership visibility and sales execution. Track team KPIs, incentives, and performance metrics. Develop andmaintaina standardized CRM account maintenance process that ensures.account recordsremainaccurateand aligned with active provincial license information. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across reporting, tools, and documentation. Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Sales Operations, Director of FieldSales and Director of Key Accounts,deliveringad-hoc insights and executive-ready performance summaries as needed. Support execution of internal sales activities including team meetings, training sessions, and sales conferences. Other responsibilities as assigned bymanager. Knowledge & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, ora relatedfield. 2+ years of sales reportingandanalytics experience. Proficiencyin data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Strong communicationskills - able to summarize performance simply and clearly. Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally. A proactive, owner-minded approach - someone who seeswhat’sneeded and takes initiative. Experience in the cannabis industry is a strong plus but notrequired. Capabilities Analyze& Dissemination of Data-Transforms complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable insights and effectivelydisseminatesthem across all levels of the organization. Organization & Time Management-Manages multiple priorities and deadlines with precision, ensuringaccurate,timely, and consistent delivery in a fast-paced environment. Market & Category Insights-Leverages market, category, and competitive data to contextualize performance and inform commercial decisions. Communication (Verbal & Written)-Communicates insights clearly and concisely, tailoring messages to diverse audiences to drive understanding and action. Continuous Improvement-demonstratesa continuous improvement mindset by proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to enhance reporting, tools, processes, and data quality.Regularly evolvessystems and workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and the overall impact of commercial insights.
