Senior Advanced Lighting ArtistAs a Senior Advanced Lighting Artist at Certain Affinity, you will get the chance to see some of the custom lighting pipelines behind the world’s biggest shooters and contribute to our proprietary technology. This role will require you to work closely with project art directors to ensure their project vision. You will also be responsible for working with artists from multiple disciplines to create in-game and cinematic content. We want to talk with you if you are passionate about creating next-level imagery and have a strong background in color theory, lighting, atmospherics, and post-processing.ResponsibilitiesAuthor environmental lighting that unifies the needs of level design and art directionAssist with look developmentPropose lighting and pipeline improvementsCollaborate with concept, environment, materials, and VFX artistsSelf-direct lighting intentions that can build upon high level art direction needsImplement scripted lighting events through blueprints to support gameplay and narrative momentsWork with Global lighting settings such as post process effects, exposure and color grading that are able to recreate the intended look guided by art directionImplement lighting rigs and determine best practices that will provide reliable performance on multiple platformsRequirementsUnreal 4 or 5 experience in a game development environment5+ years’ experience in game developmentExperience with blueprint scripting or similarComprehensive knowledge of photography or film-based techniquesSolid understanding of exposure and physically based lighting in the context of game developmentFamiliarity with lumen or similar real time rendering pipelines for global illuminationPlays gamesExtra CreditExperience with Davinci ResolveExperience with real-world cameras and lightingC++/Python/C# skillsetExperience with shader creation in Unreal #J-18808-Ljbffr
