Controls Engineer

The controls engineer position is to ensure the success of our packaging machinery projects through engineering design, implementation, and testing of the machinery controls.Write code to control machine motion per requirementsProblem solving and solution recommendationProvide engineering support to customersSupport the testing and installation of equipmentSupport continuous improvement effortsAssist with training of internal and external customersProvide support to the Customer Technical Service departmentRequired Experience & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceKnowledge of programming practicesKnowledge of motion and timingMechanical, controls, and electrical system knowledgeKnowledge of electrical and electronic componentsExperience or training with PC’s servos, and PLC’sPrevious experience with RockwellExperience with Microsoft Office productsAbility to visualize conceptsAbility to accept assignment broad in natureAbility to work under minimal supervisionAbility to communicate with a variety of people both verbally and in writing, including presentation skillsSelf-starter, creative and problem solverAbility to work independently and execute a plan #J-18808-Ljbffr
