Reporting Manager Title: Senior Environmental Technician
Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental monitoring and assessments;
- Implement and manage environmental compliance programs;
- Oversee environmental remediation projects;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Perform quality assurance/quality control activities;
- Provide support for environmental impact assessments;
- Manage waste management and spill response activities;
- Assist with environmental audits;
- Conduct training and awareness sessions;
- Participate in emergency response activities;
- Perform data analysis and interpretation;
- Manage pest control associated with various programs;
- Prepare technical reports;
Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or University Degree from accredited institution, plus appropriate continuing education;
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team setting;
- 3+ years of practical experience;
- Class 5 driver’s licence;
- Experience in either the oil and gas industry or mining is considered an asset;
