Project Analyst – WSIB – Temporary, up to 12 months About the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)When an injury or illness happens on the job, WSIB moves quickly to provide wage‑loss benefits, medical coverage and support to help people get back to work. Funded by businesses, WSIB also provides no‑fault collective liability insurance and industry‑specific health and safety information. WSIB is one of the largest insurance organizations in North America, covering over five million people in more than 300,000 workplaces across Ontario. Role SummaryThe WSIB’s Portfolio Management Office is responsible for the overall management of a large internal systems project. This temporary (up to 12 months) Project Analyst role reports directly to the Manager, Portfolio Management Office and supports the Project Management Office (PMO) of a large‑scale project by analyzing documentation/data and developing project deliverables. Key Responsibilities Coordinate status reporting, issues and risk management (including labour relations) and change control procedures following established policies and procedures. Participate in work plan reviews to facilitate resource capacity planning as required. Keep project and portfolio managers apprised of project status and any issues and variances. Perform cross‑functional tasks and/or other project‑related duties as required. Assist in the development of and update project charters, presentations, spreadsheets and other material as required. Monitor adherence to project schedules and budgets, track progress and expenses, produce status reports with critical milestones identified and escalating issues and risks to project managers. Maintain existing project management plans and assist in the development of new plans for future phases of work using MS Project. Schedule, coordinate and participate in meetings and events, collect and distribute relevant materials, take detailed meeting minutes and highlight and follow up on action items. Assist in the preparation of clear and effective communications to project teams and stakeholders with respect to related changes and implementations. Professional Requirements and Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Business Administration or a related field. One or more years of experience in an analyst position. Project analyst skills with solid understanding of project management methodologies and standards. Certifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) – PMI or Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI are an asset. Salary and DurationSalary Grade: N04 – From $64,052.96. Duration: temporary, up to 12 months. Work ArrangementThis role requires a commitment to an in‑office work arrangement up to 5 days a week beginning in 2026.
