Position Title: Manager Global Insights Position Type: Regular – Full-Time Grade: 06 Requisition ID: 39743 About the Role Drive the global insights transformation to deliver 2030 McCain growth ambitions in partnership with Director – Global Insights. Lead insights needed to build McCain brand, communications and portfolio across channels to establish the brand as undisputed potato leader globally. Advise on insight learning plans around Surecrisp and Lift & Adapt propositions across markets. Model best practices across global projects to increase business impact and speed. Global Strategic Insight Transformation Support Collaborate with Director – Global Insights on overall development of insight capabilities. Create “fit for purpose” internal capabilities and external partnerships for brand and communications. Partner with commercial and other functional teams to drive speed and efficiency globally. Actively manage brand equity and communications research budget to ensure high ROI. Lead insight learning plans for Surecrisp across markets to sustain category leadership. Deliver enterprise‑wide and forward‑thinking consumer/operator insights. Trusted Strategic Partner Identify and codify consumer/operator insight to reinforce McCain’s iconic brand. Influence future business direction with knowledge‑based foresight. Utilize data‑driven decisions across stakeholders and local brand managers. Ensure recommendations are unbiased, time‑bound and resource‑aligned. Global Demand Science Activation Leverage deep expertise of Demand Spaces insights framework. Embed Demand Spaces into the organization via coaching on toolkits and actionable insights. Drive Lift & Adapt proposition appeal insights across markets. Coach market teams to use playbooks and toolkits that feed demand‑and‑insight‑led commercial plans. What You’ll Need To Be Successful Bachelor’s degree required (analytical); MBA preferred. 6+ years of Marketing Insights, including minimum 4 years in retail. Research experience in at least 2 markets (US/Canada and another region, preferably 4). Experience in brand building, innovation research, and foodservice insights preferred. Track record of using research to develop opportunities and influence business decisions. Championing new market research techniques. Knowledge of how AI can enhance research efficiency. Proven ability to deliver multiple complex projects concurrently. Key Behaviors Collaborate with the Director – Global Insights and challenge traditional research methods. Apply strategic, critical, and creative thinking with a growth mindset. Demonstrate ownership, persistence, and hands‑on initiative. Continuous improvement with consumer and operator focus. Influence and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies. Compensation Package: CAD 102,700 – 137,000 annually + bonus eligibility.
