Job Description Overview Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support daily cloud data governance and compliance activities by validating Azure and AWS data accuracy, reviewing RBAC and Security Hardening Requirements, troubleshooting discrepancies, and driving corrective actions across cloud environments. This individual will assist with Azure Policy deployments, light ETL/reporting tasks using SQL, BI tools, and/or Azure Data Factory, and collaborate closely with architecture, security, and engineering teams to ensure cloud configurations, reporting, and governance controls are accurate and aligned with enterprise standards. They will provide clear communication on findings, document processes, and support ongoing initiatives tied to critical data elements and cloud compliance. Responsibilities Validate Azure and AWS data accuracy for governance and compliance activities. Review RBAC and Security Hardening Requirements; troubleshoot discrepancies and drive corrective actions across cloud environments. Assist with Azure Policy deployments and light ETL/reporting tasks using SQL, BI tools, and/or Azure Data Factory. Collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to ensure cloud configurations, reporting, and governance controls meet enterprise standards. Provide clear communication on findings and document processes; support ongoing initiatives tied to critical data elements and cloud compliance. Qualifications 4+ years in the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft Azure and AWS, including: ARM templating Azure DevOps pipeline deployments for infrastructure‑as‑code Role‑based access control (RBAC) Proven experience with cloud platform data storage, security, governance, data quality, and reporting tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Tableau) Experience with API integrations and cross‑cloud data workflows Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and make informed decisions Strong analytical and critical‑thinking capabilities Values matter to you: trust, teamwork, and accountability Hands‑on exposure with Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender, and/or AI/ML tooling Understanding of IAM policies Broader data/security service knowledge across Azure/AWS Understanding of SHRs (Security Hardening Requirements) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
