Bilingual (Fr/En) Health & Benefits Consultant Company: Canada Life Location: Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg Employment type: Full-time (Permanent) Salary: $52,800 - $97,700 annually (base salary only; additional variable compensation possible). Responsibilities Consult and guide plan members across multiple mediums: inbound conversations, virtual meetings, in-person visits. Obtain insight into plan members’ objectives; provide personalized consultations and solutions tailored to their health planning needs. Provide guidance, advice, and professional account management to enhance plan member wellbeing. Leverage training and sales enablement tools to identify needs and navigate members to appropriate next steps. Maintain provincial licenses in good standing; meet all required training, licensing and supervision requirements. Engage customers in website & application enrollment, claims submissions, benefits review, and resolve issues to achieve goals. Identify products and solutions that meet customers’ needs and record engagements using internal systems. Respond to operational and procedural inquiries via inbound/outbound calls. Identify and close sales opportunities; provide education on planning topics. Participate in reviews, lessons learned, and retrospectives to refine personalized approaches. Provide consistent feedback to leadership on learning opportunities; collaborate with compliance partners to ensure regulatory adherence. Perform other assigned duties: meetings, seminars, training, special initiatives, compliance meetings. Qualifications Bilingual (fluent French & English) 2+ years of sales experience Valid life insurance license (LLQP) or willingness to obtain within three months Deep product knowledge of life, health and personalized products Progress toward or completion of relevant certifications: CEBS, CHS, etc. Positive, customer‑oriented attitude Passion for advice and solutions Post‑secondary degree or equivalent experience Superior communication skills Ability to thrive in ambiguous, changing environments Excellent organization, prioritization and planning skills Availability for shifts 8 a.m.–8 p.m. ET, Monday‑Friday Ability to obtain a Reliability Status Security Clearance (if required) Benefits and Other Information The base salary range is $52,800 – $97,700 annually. Total compensation may include variable components such as annual bonus and commission. Locations are available throughout Canada’s major hubs.
