You’ll be part of a lean, high‑trust environment where QA drives impact across the development lifecycle—not just at the end.You’ll play a critical role in establishing scalable QA processes and automation infrastructure from the ground up. While you’ll begin by executing some existing scripted tests, the long‑term mission is to evolve the automation suite, improve test coverage, and integrate continuous quality checks into daily development. If you're inquisitive, fast to ramp up, and love solving ambiguous problems, you’ll feel right at home here.Required Skills & ExperienceProficiency in Python for writing and maintaining automated test scriptsExperience with test automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into real‑world CI/CD workflowsStartup or small‑team background; thrives in low‑process, fast‑moving environments with minimal documentationDesired Skills & ExperienceFamiliarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and test orchestration toolsStrong debugging skills and ability to investigate issues across logs, APIs, and UIComfortable working with vague or evolving feature specs and asking the right technical questions to clarify edge casesDaily ResponsibilitiesHands‑On Engineering & Automation: 70%Team Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Work: 30%Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full‑time basis now and in the future.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required under Motion Recruitment’s Employment Accommodation policy.
