Taking inspiration from nature and using modern and sustainable materials, we utilize our skill and expertise to bring the client’s design vision to life.We are currently looking for a passionate and creative Landscape Architect or Designer to join our collaborative team.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of working experience with custom homes and complex properties.BLA/MLA from an accredited programOALA membership is preferred (full member or associate)Proficient in drafting and 3d modelingLandscape construction, project management experience, and knowledge of rendering software is considered a definite assetDetailed Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Successful Applicant Will Be Responsible For The FollowingManaging projects through all phases of design, which include pre-planning and site research, conceptual design, and construction documentation.Creating innovative, unique, and functional concept designs in collaboration with clients and our multiple in-house disciplines.Ability to manage various applications (i.e., building permits, conservation, site plan control, site alterations, etc.)Capability to manage budgets and quotationsCoordinating with consultants, such as surveyors, engineers, arborists, planners, etc.Main point of contact with clients, trades, and subcontractors.Ability to handle contract and construction administration.Managing time and deadlines with an awareness of project fees and budgets.Skills & AttributesAligned with company principles and valuesStrong design and technical drawing skillsAbility to collaborate in a team setting to achieve a common goalStrong understanding of landscape materials, techniques, systems, and stylesKnowledge of site planning, regulatory approvals, and submission requirementsAbility to manage several projects while adapting to changing schedules, deadlines, and prioritiesHighly organized and excellent time management skillsProblem solving abilities, attention to detail, motivation to learn and resourcefulnessStrong verbal and written communication skillsEmployment Position DetailsFull Time – Permanent PositionSalaried + BenefitsHours/week: 37.5Work Environment: OfficeLocation – 14 Finlay Mill Road, Midhurst, OntarioSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionDesign, Art/Creative, and Information TechnologyIndustriesDesign ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Madison Taylor Design by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Landscape Architect” roles.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
