We are looking for a Journeyman HET (off-Road) or Journeyman Electrician Technician 2 Power for our Service Center in Leduc, AB.ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be based out of our Leduc, AB service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment.Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.QualificationsHigh School diploma/GEDJourneyman HET (off-Road) or Journeyman Electrician4-7 years of experience working on diesel power/natural gas generators, mechanics or electricians and/or commercial, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairsExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematicsValid driver’s license and PassportAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.BenefitsFull-time, Annual bonus programNo premium cost medical plan option available14-20 days on shift travel Techs, Personal use vehicleRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and moreCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement availableSafety-focused culture working on brand new technologyEqual Employment OpportunityWe welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people’s unique skills, attitudes and experiences.
