We have over 200 offices across Canada, ask us about our flexible work arrangementsWe are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink and work out of our Arnprior office in our Eastern Ontario Region, on a Permanent FT Basis.What the Role Entails:Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewalsSell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of businessQuote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receive walk-in clientsContact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policyPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewalsKeep current on underwriting rules and workflow processesActively participate in training initiativesParticipate in community marketing initiativesProcess Accounts Receivable activitiesProvide guidance and assistance as requestedThe Successful Candidate will have:Equivalent skills considered; please apply*High School and/or Post-Secondary EducationMinimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience preferredRIBO License preferredExposure to Epic is an assetStrong customer focusDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French is preferredAbility to pass a criminal background check and credit checkWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.BrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
