Position SAP RE-FX Consultant (Contract) – Lease Management and IFRS‑16 Job Details Location: Remote within Canada Employment type: Contract Hours: 40 hours/week Hourly rate: CA$100‑150/hr Role end date: July 24, 2026 Responsibilities Configure, customize, and maintain SAP RE‑FX to support lease management and IFRS‑16 compliance. Translate business requirements into system solutions and process improvements. Migrate lease data from legacy systems into SAP RE‑FX, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Implement IFRS‑16 accounting principles within SAP, including calculation of right‑of‑use assets, lease liabilities, depreciation, and interest. Collaborate with finance, IT, and real‑estate teams to optimize lease management processes. Conduct system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and validate outputs for compliance and accuracy. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end‑users. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. Prepare and maintain documentation for system configurations, business processes, and compliance reporting. Generate and review lease accounting reports for audit and regulatory purposes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud RE‑FX full integration, including CLM IFRS16 valuation and LUM for assessments and property taxes. Strong understanding of IFRS‑16 lease accounting standards. Experience in system implementation, data migration, and process optimization. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. SAP certification (RE‑FX or related) is a plus.
