This approach, along with our extreme work ethic, makes us a service provider of choice for many clients.Based in Sudbury, the Project Engineer (P.Eng.) will report to the Project Manager, Engineering, and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the review and preparation of technical deliverables for clients on Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team that provides solutions in a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Stormwater Management.What You’ll DoWork in a fast-paced and challenging environment with our Planning and Engineering teams on a variety of land development and linear infrastructure projectsBe responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects including: Lot Grading Plans, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Developments, Site Plan Control Applications, and Residential SubdivisionsPrepare and review technical deliverables including stormwater management designs and reports and functional servicing studiesCollaborate with the engineering team to prepare and review detailed engineering drawingsApply technical modelling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RASProvide on-site technical review and general review certification when requiredPrepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluationCoordinate project needs with the Project Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory entities, vendors, and subcontractorsPlease note that this job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility that will ever be required of an employee in the job.Who You AreYou have 2-3 years of experience working as a P.Eng. in Ontario in a Civil Engineering roleValid P.Eng. licence through PEOYou have robust knowledge in stormwater management, site servicing, and water resources engineeringYou have experience completing Municipal Class EA Planning processYou have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standardsYou can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectivesYou have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and technical modelling softwareYou are willing to travel periodically as neededWhat You Should BringThe ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
