They offer solutions to fix the problems or failures on the process and makes themselves a pillar of the maintenance team and the lead spirit. Their skills and understanding of the production and automated equipment push them to continuously improve on production and industrial systems.Improving the reliability of the systems in place.Performing all required repairs as well as preventive maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, and production equipment.Reading mechanical plans and drawings.Performing necessary repairs to buildings and ancillary systems.Able to weld to make repairs and fabricate.Completing inspections of various equipment and facilities (machinery, buildings, etc.).Ensuring that pneumatic, hydraulic,thermaland mechanical equipmentis safe at all times.Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification (443a)and/orDiploma of collegial studies in mechanicsand/orTwo diplomas of vocational studies (related to the field)Your Knowledge and Competencies :Good knowledge of industrial equipmentExperience in a manufacturing plantMust have adriverslicenceYour Skills and Abilities :Team spirit and sense of belongingStress managementCommunicationAdaptability / FlexibilityCommitmentBeing reactive on the set up of simple solution to improve the running efficiencySharing the taste of production and maintenanceAnalytical mindsetGoing ahead of the informationBeing aware of the safety rules and being involved on the safety policy of the planYour working conditions :Occasional variations according to the work schedule and production emergenciesMust always wear safety glasses and bootsDusty and dirty work environmentOccasional exposure to bitumen, solvent, and vapours or fumesMust be available according to the schedule set to answer service calls for machinesWANT TO HAVE A JOB AT THE HEIGHT OF YOUR AMBITIONS AT SOPREMA?
