Senior Site Inspector Forestry Apply for the Senior Site Inspector Forestry role at AtkinsRéalis. Responsibilities Act as the client representative in the field to inspect and verify electrical utilities construction performed by contractors, specifically in the right of way clearing for new electrical transmission lines and stations. Review contract documents and project‑specific plans and monitor contractor compliance to these documents. Verify construction is built as per IFC drawings and client specifications, using approved materials only. Prepare daily/weekly site reports with photos of daily field activities, track construction progress and maintain a deficiency register. Verify construction activities comply with the contractor's QA/QC plan and in accordance with the ITP. Monitor contractor safety performance and report any deviations from the contractor's H&S plan or violations of OHSA regulations. Monitor environmental performance and report any violations or deviations from the contractor's environmental management plan (EMP) or environmental regulations. Qualifications Graduated from Bachelor of Science/Forestry or a technical program, or a certified Utility Arborist. Past construction, utilities, site supervision, and/or inspection experience (minimum 10 years). Extensive experience in transmission line right‑of‑way clearing related to forestry lumber processing and/or electrical utilities construction of transmission or HV station projects is favorable. Strong knowledge of Ontario construction regulations and ability to interpret design drawings and standards. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Self‑accountable, able to work independently and prioritize deliverables on time. Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and flexible on working hours (nights/weekends).
