Business Manager at HCR Personnel Solutions HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in the GTA who needs to hire a Maintenance Department Manager. What they are looking for is someone who has been employed as a Maintenance Manager in a fast paced manufacturing setting. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Facilities Management, or Skilled Trade CofQ with equivalent experience 5+ years proven maintenance/facility management experience in manufacturing (preferably automotive) Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, HVAC, electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics Proficient with CMMS and maintenance/facility management software In-depth understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards and compliance Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance and facility management strategy Lead, coach and manage maintenance technicians, facility staff and contractors Plan and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs and CMMS records Manage maintenance budget, spare parts and vendor/contractor relationships Oversee installation, commissioning and engineering changes for equipment and tooling Conduct regular inspections, 5S workplace checks, monthly safety talks and incident investigations Ensure all work is performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and complies with company policies Conduct performance reviews, approve leave, train new employees and handle progressive discipline Collaborate with production and engineering on continuous improvement and customer issue resolution Contact and Resume Submission If you feel you are an excellent candidate and have the required skills and experience indicated above, please send your attached resume and any important details to HCR Permanent Search, care of the Recruitment Consultant listed below.
