What you’ll do:Develop and distribute timely market insight communications, summarizing global, North American, and Western Canadian energy market developments and their operational impacts.Support the petroleum sales forecasting function by maintaining accurate data inputs and collaborating with the Co-op Refinery Complex, Supply & Drading, and internal stakeholders.Support in the preparation of short- and long-term forecasts to support refinery production scheduling, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making.Monitor market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and margin fluctuations, providing insights that inform forecasting and pricing strategies.Support the administration of pricing programs by supporting rollout, monitoring performance, resolving discrepancies, and responding to inquiries from Zone Advisors and Local Co-ops.Who you’ll work with:The Team: You will work closely with and will report into the Senior Forecast Specialist.The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Energy business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Supply Chain, the CRC and local co-ops.Why it matters:We fuel Western Canadian communities by offering innovative energy products and providing unmatched service to Co-op member-owners and customers.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Business Strategy and Operations Advisory and:Have 1- 3 years experience in energy or commodity markets, forecasting or pricing analysis, or financial modeling.Have a Bachelor’s degree in business or economics; other degrees will also be considered (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and a strong analytical thinker.What we offer:Competitive salaries, short-term incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.Encouragement to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop as a Team Member.As a co-operative, we do business differently.
