As a Contract Setup Analyst, you will join our team, reporting to our Team Lead, Contracts Administration. Office, remote and hybrid opportunities are available. As a key member of the Montrose Engineering and Consulting Center of Excellence, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including: Contract Intake and Review: Receive and review incoming revenue contract requests from project managers. Analyze contract terms and conditions for completeness and accuracy. Identify and escalat any potential risks or areas requiring clarification. Contract Management System and Analysis: Utilize Workday to efficiently store, track, and manage contracts. Input contract data accurately and maintain detailed records. Monitor projects‑at‑risk, providing feedback to operations on requirements to convert to billable projects. li>Monitor contract value relative to revenue recognized, ensuring change orders are obtained in advance to ensure continuity of revenue recognition. Generate reports on contracts as needed. Support management with revenue analysis and investigation. Communication and Liaison: Communicate effectively with internal and external parties regarding contract updates, clarifications, and approvals. Serve as a point of contact for questions related to the revenue contract setup process. Process Efficiency and Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the contract setup process. Assist in developing and implementing new procedures and best practices. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of experience in project accounting, financial management, engineering or construction consulting, or related roles, preferably in a project-based environment. Understanding of accounting principles and practices, including revenue recognition, cost accounting, and project budgeting. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in project accounting modules preferred. Workday experience is an asset. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A strong attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This is a permanent position with an hourly range of $29‑$31, starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
