Overview The Technical Solutions Specialist has a focus on both presales and post-sales of the StrucSoft product line. The role is predominantly a customer focused role with three main areas of involvement:
~40% pre-sales support (demonstrations, early discussions, product meetings)
~40% post-sales support (training, consultancy, support)
~20% Product development (supporting the development team, developing documentation, video’s, whitepapers etc.)

Pre-Sales Support:
Running demonstrations and interactive discussions with the customer and prospects
Scoping out the requirements and providing a technical proposal for the customer
Working closely with the customer to provide “best in class” advice
Configuring the customer workflows and advising on best practice
Support the solution lines sales
Post-Sales Support:
Working with the customer on providing a training/development program for a successful implementation
Run all levels of training and consultancy based around standard material and real-world projects
Working with the customer on their implementation
Ongoing support with the customers
Supporting the development team on functionality, and future requests
Becoming the go to person for the customer to feedback issues, wish list functionality, and good news
Developing localized training material, competitor comparisons, white papers, and webinars

Collaborate and work efficiently with the solution line sales rep in your geographical region to help drive awareness and promote StrucSoft
Help win new business through demonstrations / prospect discussions
Nurture current customers with the aim to add additional licenses
Nurture current customers to renew
Help the solution lines sales rep run quarterly webinars
Ensure accurate data is entered into our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system when dealing on support cases
Contribute to marketing activity (creating social media or technical blog posts monthly) - validated by Marketing according to corporate guidelines
Active participation and contribution into our global StrucSoft Solution community
Work with the Global technical enablement manager to help improve processes and documentation

Revit drafting experience, using Revit in the workplace
Minimum 2 years experience drafting in the construction, architectural or engineering industries
Knowledge and experience with other Autodesk software ie: Excellent interpersonal skills, including face-to-face, telephone and written communication skills
Professionalism, personal integrity, and reliability
A positive ‘hands-on’ work ethic
Ability to learn new environments and be passionate about real customer success
Capacity to work in an international environment
Strong French and English communication skills, both oral and written.
Experience in light steel, light wood framing design, offsite construction design, or similar relevant experience
Experience delivering high level customer service
Driver’s License as this role will require travelling
Valid Canadian passport – Travel into the US is a requirement


Experience working in a software company, Dev-Ops or other software development platforms
Knowledge of CNC machinery
Previous experience working in pre or post sales customer service positions
Previous experience providing professional training, especially surrounding software, or drafting.
Knowledge in BIM & BIM Processes
