Legal Administrative Assistant – Family Law Lindsay Kenney LLP is one of Western Canada’s largest full‑service law firms, located at 1500-401 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, Canada. About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Family Law Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy practice in our Vancouver office. The role requires strong organizational, multi‑tasking and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Opening and closing files Drafting correspondences Acting as liaison between clients, lawyers and opposing counsel Communicating file status, deadlines and trial preparation with handling lawyers Electronic filing of documents Organizing files, binders, client documents and related materials Maintaining bring‑forward system Managing the calendar of the assigned lawyer(s): booking appointments, trials and discoveries Other administrative tasks as required Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience as an LAA in a busy family practice Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited post‑secondary institution Understanding of the legal process and Rules of Court Familiarity with DivorceMate, iManage, Acumin and Court Services Online Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team environment Compensation and Benefits Typical salary range: $73,000 – $78,000 per year.
