Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on various types of aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Salary : $ 86,000/ year
Major Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform all work tasks in accordance with customer check packages, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), and company procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork, documentation, and reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures related to human resources, attendance, safety, and security.
- Other duties as required.
Core Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English).
- Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs).
- Specific knowledge of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.
- Ability to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
- Familiarity with safe work practices and techniques.
- Basic coaching and leadership skills.
Training & Experience:
- Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCA or applicable governing body).
- Minimum of 48 months' experience performing AME duties.
- Holder of AME license or equivalency.
