Store Loss Prevention Lead, Rideau Centre Sport Chek What You’ll Do Maintain a positive attitude to assist customers and employees. Lead the effort to reduce internal and external loss, ensuring the store follows all aspects of the LP Program. Provide loss prevention presence on the sales floor and in departments during high‑risk hours. Ensure customers are acknowledged throughout the store. Secure product in the store, apply LP tagging standards, and keep high‑value items locked. Log incidents and coordinate with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager. Coach associates on acknowledgment responsibilities and current LP hotspots. What You Bring 6+ months of retail experience (preferred). 12+ months of Loss Prevention Officer or In‑store Security experience (preferred). Experience training and mentoring employees. Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy containers up to 50 lbs. Computer literacy (asset). Passion for activity and drive to inspire others. Educational Level High School Diploma. Provincially valid Security Guard or Investigator License (asset). Sport Chek will pay internally promoted employees to complete required training and licenses. Valid CPR & First Aid training required; retrainable during employment. Highlights Paid industry training, growth and advancement opportunities, bonus structure.
