Learn more about the role Your Main Responsibilities Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies. Lead project teams in the planning and delivery of a range of contaminated sites projects. Provide consulting services in the capacity of a Senior Engineer / Professional in conjunction with phased environmental site assessments and remediation and risk management programs. Remain current with the requirements of local, provincial and federal agencies for the assessment and management of contaminated sites. Apply in-depth knowledge of engineering principles to the completion of complex and difficult projects under your responsibility. Mentor, direct, and collaborate with other environmental professionals and technicians. Work with other project managers to ensure that projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations. Develop high-quality deliverables and proposals. Build and support client relationships while working in conjunction with the senior leadership team. Consult on matters of design, processes, and engineering techniques related to growth opportunities, business development and planning. Provide effective technical leadership, direction, and support for members of the team. Serve as a senior consultant for environmental projects, designs and deliverables. What Makes You Unique University degree in Environmental Engineering and/or Applied Science, or related discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of environmental consulting. Member of Professional Engineer and/or Geoscientists association(s). Experience in contaminated sites is highly desired. Experience in natural environmental science projects. Experience with hazardous materials surveys. Experience in contaminant hydrogeology. Experience in managing a portfolio of projects. Experience working on federal client assignments is considered a strong asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced problem solving and analytical skills. Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Atlantic Region. Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
