POSITION: Director of Venue FinanceDEPARTMENT: FinanceREPORTS TO: VP, FinanceFLSA STATUS: Exempt THE ROLE This role leads the overall venue level transition and DOF coverage in the Americas. It provides temporary coverage as taskforce/floaters are needed, manages any exceptions to controls and policies within the region, and actively leads ongoing training of ERP and policies & procedures. The position plays an active role within Legends Global for venue transition (new opening, takeover, venue existing Legends Global), ensuring a proper control environment across venues in the region. It works with all venue leadership teams, DOFs, Legends Corporate, Legends RVPs/VPs/SVPs, Legends Global Corporate Finance and accounting team, Regional DOFs, committees, and the ERP implementation project team. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Venue DOF coverage and taskforce resource planning: Act as Director of Finance as needed for venues when there are DOF vacancies. Plan and direct, in partnership with Regional Directors of Finance/VP Finance on task force planning and support for needed venues. Induct and train new DOFs from our venues as needed. Transition and projects: Act as SME of Venue finance on projects and transitions for new venues, take over, exit of venues from Legends. Act as conduit on the transition project teams. Business Best Practice: Lead and drive business best practice agenda across the venues. Stand up best practice platforms for venues in the region. ERP implementation and training: Manage and lead, in partnership with the corporate ERP project team, to implement, train and rollout new ERP across the venues. Implementation requires writing SOPs. Policies and Procedures: Participate and represent Finance on Policy and Procedures rewrite workgroups to review, discuss and approve any changes to Policies and Procedures. Serve as SME for processes and procedures at venue level. Supervisory Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of 5–7 years’ industry experience with at least three (3) of those years in a management function of an arena, convention center or stadium; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
