About Us Monarch Bible Camp is a mobile camp operating in the Kawartha Lakes/HaliburtonHighlands area. We are a mobile ministry, running camps in smaller communitiesso children can enjoy camp close to home. We usually run 6 weeks of Day Camps(evenings and weekends free) and 1 week of Resident Camp. We work withchildren and youth ages 6 to 14. About the Role The Director of Discipleship plays a key role in fulfilling the mission of One HopeCanada at our camp by fostering spiritual growth and connection. This position isall about relationships—building meaningful connections with campers, mentoringsummer staff, and investing in the lives of children and youth both during thesummer and throughout the year. Working closely with the Ministry Director andOntario Field Director, the Director of Discipleship helps lead the camp’s summermissionary team and ensures that every camper encounters the hope of theGospel in a personal and engaging way. Responsibilities Build authentic, Christ-centered relationships with campers, staff, andyouth in the local community. Lead and support spiritual programming at camp, including devotions,Bible studies, and one-on-one mentoring. Assist the Ministry Director in training, encouraging, and leading summermissionaries. Provide year-round discipleship opportunities through follow-up programs,events, and outreach. Work collaboratively with the Ministry Director and Ontario Field Directorto align with One Hope Canada’s mission and values. Model a growing relationship with Jesus in all areas of leadership andservice. Requirements A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for sharingthe Gospel with children and youth. Strong leadership and relational skills, with a passion for mentoring anddiscipleship. Experience in youth ministry, camp ministry, or a similar setting ispreferred. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. It’s a fast-paced, exciting ministry role where you will be stretched and yet encouraged as you experienceGod and His work.
