We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Team Member – Chop Line. The position will be stationed at our 900 Intermodal Drive location in Brampton, ON. This role is responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing non‑ferrous scrap metals to achieve operational goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include control and care of the industrial forklift and skid‑steer equipment used for shipping, receiving and production purposes. What We Offer Paid Benefits – Health, Vision & Dental Life, Long‑Term Disability and AD&D Insurance Monthly Bonus Pension Plan Match Over‑Time Pay Annual Boot Allowance Training and opportunities for growth and advancement Pay Rate: $23.76 + $1.00 night shift premium Shift Schedule Continental Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday Responsibilities Inspect and process non‑ferrous scrap metals, maintaining an orderly work location to achieve operational goals. Inspect material quality after it passes through the chop line and remove non‑conforming materials. Monitor and adjust Chop Line Colour Sorter PLC parameters, including material flow, temperature control, air flow and vibration control. Perform general mechanical adjustments, blade prep and changes in ATS and BDR, blade checks, and screen changes. Visually inspect product quality from Hamos and report findings to the Shift Supervisor. Operate counterbalance forklift and/or skid‑steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures, ensuring efficient material movement. Perform general housekeeping functions.
