Essential Functions Wire equipment to ensure all electrical parts are in working order, as per specifications. Panel building, machine wiring, drive programming, and machine testing. Set up and perform circuit tests. Provide technical assistance to engineering designers and shop personnel. Perform electrical maintenance throughout the facility as required. Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electric code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Work knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Lock out tag out – an asset. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Organizational Relationships Will interact effectively and regularly with hourly operations employees including Production Leaders, Purchasing, Inventory. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Post‑secondary education; 3 or more years of previous experience in a related field; experience troubleshooting electrical control systems. Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communications; ability to interact clearly and confidently with all levels in the organization. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Electrical license (309A or 442A). Other Qualifications: Continuous improvement mindset; action oriented, strong sense of responsibility and execution mindset. Physical Demands Stand, walk, and/or sit 100% of the time. Use hands to handle, reach and feel 90% of the time. Talk and hear 100% of the time. Work Environment Shop floor environment.
