Manager, Regulatory Capital Reporting - Retail (12 Month Contract) Requisition ID: 246412 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high‑performing culture. The role This contract role will be part of the capital management team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of Regulatory Capital components for Retail positions for the total Bank, including Domestic and International portfolios. The main responsibilities for this contract role are to assist with the Bank’s IRM modelling initiatives, including defining and documenting business requirements, testing and validating implementations while working closely with the modelling team and IT & S. The role requires subject‑matter expertise for Basel III capital requirements on Retail portfolios, and excellent spreadsheet and MS Power BI skills as well as extensive understanding of OSFI’s Capital Adequacy Guidelines. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Assist the Senior Manager on Retail initiatives affecting regulatory capital, including defining and documenting business requirements, testing and validating implementations, and providing analytical and modelling support, including data mining. Participate in systems changes, new programming requirements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Retail changes impacting the Axiom engine and reporting tool. Support the Senior Manager and the team with in‑depth analysis for system changes and the Bank’s readiness to comply with any new and proposed rules to the Regulatory Capital guidelines related to the Retail portfolio (e.g., Basel III revisions), including the impact on RWA. Provide analytical support for RWA initiatives related to the Retail portfolio and Basel II floor analysis. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have: Understanding of the Basel III framework and OSFI’s CAR guidelines. Exceptional attention to detail. Familiarity with Basel III rules and experience in credit risk management preferred. Good knowledge of database management software, such as Power BI, to facilitate manipulation of large volumes of financial data. Highly proficient in other MS Office suite products. Solid financial modelling skills. Experience in process automation and reconciliations. Familiarity with Retail exposures and products will be beneficial. Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work long hours as demanded by tight reporting deadlines during month‑end and quarter‑end reporting. Superb self‑motivation and work attitude, excellent organizational and time‑management skills. University degree in Mathematics, Business or Computer Science, with at least 2 years of demonstrated work experience in a cross‑functional environment. Accounting designation is an asset.
